Biography

I have over 25 years experience working in therapeutic disciplines including 8 years working at a Hospice. I have always worked with a wide range of people supporting their development and change using a range of tools. After completing a degree in Health and Community Studies at Liverpool University I then studied Herbal Medicine for 4 years becoming a member of the National Institute of Medical Herbalists in 1993. I was honoured with a Fellowship for the Institute in 2008 for services to the profession. I undertook a Post Graduate Certificate in Education (Adult Learning) at Hull University. Since then I have developed and delivered training for the statutory and charity sectors for organisations and individuals. I trained as a Life Coach in and Lymphoedema Therapist in 2008 working for 8 years at Lindsey Lodge Hospice.

Getting In Touch

I usually invite people to speak free of charge for 15 minutes before they book an appointment. That way we can explore and decide what is the best way forwards for you. Sometimes a Counselling or Coaching approach may be more beneficial or can be used alongside using the effective use of herbal medicine an example may be if you are experiencing anxiety. I am a Member and Fellow of The National Institute of Medical Herbalists. Registered Member of The British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy. Registered Cruse Trainer, Superviser and Volunteer with adults and young people.

I am a registered trainer and superviser for a national bereavement charity and have worked extensively with people who have complex needs including mental health issues and addiction.
